Description
Hand-woven Loom Lori rugs from India, known as “Gabbeh”, are rustic works of art named after the Farsi word for “raw”. Having become popular since the early 1990s, they offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbeh rugs are characterised by their thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, often featuring abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Made from wool, cotton or other materials, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit well in any room of the house. Ideal for lovers of craftsmanship and aesthetic diversity.
