Description
Gabbeh, Farsi for “raw”, are simple carpets that have been popular since the 1990s as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. They have thick pile, diverse colours and bold patterns, often with abstract or representational motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, but also cotton or other materials, they vary in size from mats to large rugs for any room.
