Description
Loom Lori rugs are hand-woven treasures from India, known for their Gabbeh variations, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the 1990s, they have been gaining popularity as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns – abstract or featuring motifs such as animals and people. Mostly made of wool, but also cotton or other materials, they range from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room. These rugs embody craftsmanship and enrich modern or traditional interiors with their robust beauty and cultural depth. Gabbehs are not only decorative but also practical, offering a charming addition to living spaces that value artisanal quality and a connection to traditional rug artistry.
