Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, are known as Gabbeh carpets, which means “raw” in Farsi. Since the 1990s, they have gained popularity as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, which are often associated with classic interior design. Gabbeh rugs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colour palette and bold, geometric patterns. These can be abstract or figurative, often depicting animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variations made of cotton or other materials. Their size varies from small mats to large rugs, and they are suitable for any room in the house. Gabbeh rugs exude craftsmanship and bring a warm, inviting atmosphere to any room with their artistic tradition.
