Description
Loom Lori carpets are hand-woven treasures from India, known for their popular Gabbeh carpets, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the early 1990s, they have been a more relaxed, folkier alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, whether abstract or featuring motifs such as animals or people. Made from wool with some variations in cotton or other materials, they range in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room. These rugs represent craftsmanship and blend charmingly into modern or traditional interior styles, conveying rugged beauty and cultural depth.
