Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, include the popular Gabbeh carpets, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the 1990s, they have enjoyed growing popularity as a relaxed, folk alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbehs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns. These can be abstract or figurative, depicting motifs such as animals or people. Mainly made of wool, they are also available in cotton or other materials. Sizes range from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room. They embody craftsmanship and complement both modern and traditional interior styles with their robust beauty and cultural depth.
