Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, include the popular Gabbeh carpets, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the early 1990s, they have been in demand as a more relaxed, folk-inspired alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbeh rugs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns that can be abstract or figurative, often featuring animal or human motifs. Made primarily from wool, they are sometimes also made from cotton or other materials. Sizes range from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room in the home. These rugs reflect craftsmanship and offer a charming addition to modern or traditional interior styles, embodying a rugged beauty and cultural depth.
