Description
Loom Lori rugs, handwoven in India, include “Gabbeh” rugs, named after the Persian word for “raw”. Popular since the early 1990s, they offer a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbeh are characterised by a thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, occasionally cotton or other materials, they range in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room of the house. Gabbeh rugs are known for their durability and their ability to create a warm, cosy atmosphere, ideal for modern and traditional living spaces alike.
