Description
Gabbeh rugs are hand-knotted in Iran and India, with ‘gabbeh’ meaning ‘raw’ in Farsi. This style has been popular since the early 1990s as a relaxed alternative to formal Persian rugs. Gabbehs have thick pile, many colours and feature cool geometric or animal motifs. Made of wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the house.
