Description
The term “gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and refers to simple, rustic carpets. Popular since the early 1990s, they offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbeh rugs have a thick pile, many colours, bold geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Made from wool or cotton, they fit into any room in the house.
