Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, present the Gabbeh collection, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the early 1990s, they have enjoyed growing popularity as a relaxed, folk alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbeh rugs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, rich colour palette and bold, geometric patterns. These patterns can be abstract or representational, often featuring depictions of animals or people. Made primarily from wool, there are also variations in cotton and other materials. Sizes range from small mats to large rugs, and they can be used in any room of the house. Gabbehs are known for their durability and unique handmade character, which gives any room a warm, traditional atmosphere.
