Description
Gabbeh rugs are hand-knotted in Iran and India. The name “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes a simple, rustic rug style. Popular since the 1990s as a relaxed alternative to formal Persian carpets, they offer a thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and cool geometric or animal motifs. Usually made of wool, they fit into any room with sizes ranging from small mats to large carpets. Gabbehs are known for their naturalness and simplicity and are ideal for a relaxed living atmosphere.
