Description
This carpet is one of the traditional village and nomadic carpets from Iran. It is hand-knotted according to ancient traditions in small towns and villages, as well as outdoors by nomads such as the Shiraz and Ghashghai tribes. The carpets are created without a template and entirely from memory, resulting in unique, linear and geometric patterns. The craftsmanship and cultural tradition of these carpets give them a special character that embodies ancient Persia. These carpets are not only decorative works of art, but also living testimonies to the history and culture of Iran.
