Description
Lori Baff carpets are hand-knotted in the Orient and India. “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes simple, rustic carpets. Since the 1990s, they have been popular as a relaxed, folk alternative to Persian carpets. Gabbeh carpets are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold, geometric patterns, which often depict animals or people. They are mainly made of wool, sometimes cotton or other materials. These carpets come in various sizes, from small mats to large rugs, and they fit into any room in the house.
