Description
This carpet belongs to the village and nomadic carpets from Iran. In small towns and villages, as well as by nomads in the open air, these carpets are knotted by hand according to ancient tradition. Shiraz and Ghashghai carpets in particular are created without a template, entirely from the weavers’ imagination. They are characterised by linear and geometric patterns. Thanks to their deep-rooted cultural origins, these carpets embody the unique character of ancient Persia. Their traditional craftsmanship and original designs make each carpet a special piece that reflects the rich history and culture of Iran.
