Description
This carpet is one of the traditional village and nomadic carpets from Iran. These carpets are made using traditional craftsmanship in small towns and villages as well as by nomads in the open air, such as in Shiraz and Ghashghai. They are created without a template and exclusively from memory, which gives them a special authenticity. The patterns are linear and geometric, which underlines the cultural tradition and heritage of these carpets. Their handcrafted production and historical significance embody the unique character of ancient Persia. Each carpet is therefore not only an artistic design object, but also a valuable expression of centuries-old traditions and cultural identity.
