Description
Gabbeh means “raw” in Farsi and describes rustic carpets that have been gaining popularity since the early 1990s. They offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets and are characterised by thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns. These carpets, mostly made of wool, sometimes cotton, vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the house.
