Description
The term “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Persian and describes simple, rustic carpets. Since the early 1990s, they have been gaining popularity as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbehs have a thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, they are also available in cotton or other materials in various sizes to suit any room.
