Description
Lori Baff carpets are hand-knotted in the Orient and India. “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes simple, rustic carpets. Since the 1990s, they have been popular as a relaxed, folk alternative to Persian carpets. Gabbeh carpets have a thick pile, diverse colours and geometric patterns, often featuring animal or human figures.
