Description
Gabbeh, “raw” in Persian, are simple, rustic rugs that have become increasingly popular since the 1990s as a relaxed, folk alternative to traditional Persian rugs. With thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, abstract or representational, often featuring animals or people. Mostly made of wool, sometimes cotton or other materials, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room in the house.
