Description
Gabbeh, which means “raw” in Farsi, are rustic rugs that have been growing in popularity since the early 1990s. They offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs and are characterised by thick pile, many colours and bold patterns. Gabbehs, usually made of wool, often feature abstract or figurative designs with animals or people. They vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room.
