Description
Gabbeh, a Farsi word meaning “raw,” describes rustic rugs. Popular since the 1990s, they offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbehs have a thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, they are also available in cotton or other materials in various sizes to suit every room in the house.
