Description
Gabbeh, meaning “raw” in Farsi, have been popular since the 1990s as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. They have a thick pile, diverse colours and bold, geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also cotton variants. Their size varies from small mats to large carpets, suitable for any room in the house.
