Description
Gabbeh, which means “raw” in Farsi, have become increasingly popular since the early 1990s as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. They have a thick pile, many colours and bold geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Gabbehs are usually made of wool, occasionally cotton or other materials, and come in a variety of sizes to suit any room.
