Description
Gabbeh, which means “raw” in Farsi, is a rustic type of carpet that has been gaining popularity since the early 1990s. As an alternative to traditional Persian carpets, they go well with folk interior design. Gabbehs have a thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Usually made of wool, they vary in size from small mats to large area rugs, ideal for any area of the home.
