Description
Gabbeh rugs, whose name means “raw” in Farsi, have been popular since the early 1990s. They offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs and go well with folk-inspired interiors. They are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colour palette and bold geometric patterns. They often feature abstract or figurative designs with animals or people. Mostly made of wool, they are also available in cotton. Gabbehs vary in size from small mats to large rugs and are suitable for any room in the house.
