Description
Gabbeh, Farsi for “raw”, are simple, rustic rugs that have been popular since the 1990s as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. They have a thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variants made of cotton or other materials. From small mats to large rugs, they fit into any room.
