Description
The term “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and refers to simple, rustic carpets. Since the 1990s, they have become increasingly popular as a relaxed, folk alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbeh carpets are characterised by thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold, geometric patterns that often depict animals or people. They are usually made of wool and are available in various sizes, from small mats to large carpets.
