Description
Gabbeh carpets, hand-knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and represent a simple, rustic style. Appreciated since the early 1990s as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets, they offer thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and cool geometric or animal motifs, abstract or representational. Mostly made of wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large carpets and fit into any room in the house.
