Description
Gabbeh rugs from Iran and India are known for their simplicity. The term “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes their rustic style. Since the early 1990s, they have been a popular, relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, which are often associated with formal interior design. Gabbehs have a thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and feature cool geometric and animal motifs. Made from wool on wool, they range in size from small mats to large rugs and are suitable for any room in the house.
