Description
Gabbeh rugs, hand-knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and embody a simple, rustic style. Popular since the 1990s as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, they offer thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and cool geometric or animal motifs. The patterns are often abstract or representational, featuring animals or people. Made of wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room of the house.
