Description
Gabbeh rugs, hand-knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and embody a simple, rustic style. Since the early 1990s, they have grown in popularity as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, which are often associated with formal interior design. They offer a thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and cool geometric and animal motifs, either abstract or representational. Mostly made of wool on wool, they range in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the home.
