Description
Gabbeh carpets, hand-knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Persian and are known for their simplicity. Popular since the 1990s as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets, they offer a thick, luxurious pile and a variety of colours. Their patterns, often geometric or featuring animals, can be abstract or representational, sometimes depicting animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also cotton variants. Available in various sizes, Gabbeh rugs are versatile and fit into any room in the house.
