Description
Gabbeh carpets are hand-knotted in Iran and India. The word “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Persian and describes simple, rustic carpets. They have become popular since the early 1990s as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. They offer a thick, luxurious pile with a variety of colours and cool geometric or animal patterns. Gabbehs are usually made of wool, sometimes cotton or other materials. From small mats to large carpets, they are suitable for any room.
