Description
Gabbeh rugs, hand-knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and offer a rustic alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Popular since the early 1990s, they are more relaxed and folk-inspired in design. With thick, luxurious pile and a variety of colours, they feature cool geometric or animal motifs, abstract or representational, often with animals or people. Made of wool, they range in size from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room in the house.
