Description
Gabbeh rugs, knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Persian and offer a rustic alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Popular since the 1990s, they are more relaxed and folksy, with thick pile, lots of colour and geometric or animal motifs. These wool-on-wool rugs range in size from mats to large carpets and fit into any room. Their abstract or representational patterns, often featuring animals or people, add unique charm and character to any interior.
