Description
This carpet is one of the traditional village and nomadic carpets from Iran, which are hand-knotted in small towns and villages as well as by nomads in the open countryside. The Shiraz and Ghashghai carpets, which are made without a template and from memory, are particularly well known. They are characterised by straight lines and geometric patterns. Their cultural and traditional origins give them a unique character that brings ancient Persia to life. These carpets represent not only craftsmanship, but also a piece of history and culture that creates a special atmosphere in any room.
