Description
Gabbeh rugs, hand-knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and embody a simple, rustic style. Since the early 1990s, they have been a popular, relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs that complement formal interiors. Gabbehs have a thick, luxurious pile, come in a variety of colours and feature cool, geometric and animal motifs, both abstract and representational. Usually made of wool on wool, they range from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the house.
