Description
Gabbeh rugs, from Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and have been a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs since the 1990s. With thick pile, diverse colours and cool motifs such as geometric shapes and animals, they are often made of wool. Their patterns are abstract or representational, with frequent depictions of animals or people. From small mats to large rugs, they fit into any room in the house.
