Description
Gabbeh rugs, knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and have been popular since the early 1990s as a more relaxed, folk-inspired alternative to traditional Persian rugs. They are characterised by a thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and cool, geometric or animal motifs, often abstract or figurative. Made of wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and are versatile enough to suit any room in the home.
