Description
Gabbeh carpets, knotted in Iran and India, are known for their simple, rustic style. The name “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and refers to these uncomplicated carpets, which have become increasingly popular since the early 1990s. They offer a more relaxed, folksy alternative to traditional Persian rugs and are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile and a variety of colours and cool geometric and animal motifs. Gabbehs are typically made of wool on wool and are available in various sizes, from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room in the house.
