Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, include the popular Gabbeh carpets, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the early 1990s, they have become increasingly popular as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are characterised by a thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns, whether abstract or figurative with motifs such as animals or people. Mainly made of wool, there are also variants made of cotton or other materials. Ranging in size from small mats to large rugs, they are perfect for any room in the home. These rugs embody craftsmanship and complement both modern and traditional interior styles with their rugged beauty and cultural depth.
