Description
Pakistani carpet production is mainly concentrated in Lahore and Karachi. Many carpet weavers fled to Pakistan during the Indo-Pakistani War and shaped the tradition of hand-knotted carpets there, especially the well-known Pakistan Bukhara carpets. Similar to Afghan Oriental carpets, they are kept in dark colours, often with dominant red tones and the characteristic octagonal pattern. These carpets are ideal for both classic and modern interiors, as they combine traditional craftsmanship with current design preferences.
