Description
Gabbeh rugs, hand-knotted in Iran and India, are known for their rustic style. “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes their simplicity. Since the early 1990s, they have been a relaxed alternative to more formal Persian rugs. With thick, luxurious pile and a variety of colours, they feature cool geometric or animal motifs, abstract or representational. Mostly made of wool, they range from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room. Gabbehs are popular for their versatility and lend a welcoming character to any home.
