Description
Gabbeh, which means “raw” in Farsi, are rustic rugs that have been growing in popularity since the early 1990s. They offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs and are characterised by thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variants made of cotton or other materials, in sizes ranging from mats to large carpets suitable for any interior design.
