Description
Gabbeh carpets from Iran and India, literally “raw” in Persian, have been popular since the 1990s as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. They are characterised by dense pile, diverse colours and cool geometric or animal motifs, often made of wool on wool. The patterns can be abstract or representational, often featuring animals or people. With sizes ranging from mats to large rugs, they fit into any room in the house.
