Description
Gabbeh means “raw” in Persian and refers to simple, rustic rugs that have become increasingly popular since the early 1990s. They offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs and go well with folk-inspired interiors. Gabbeh rugs are characterised by thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and cool geometric patterns. These patterns can be abstract or representational, often depicting animals or people. They are typically made from wool and vary in size from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room in the house.
