Description
Gabbeh rugs, hand-knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi. Since the 1990s, this rustic style has offered a relaxed alternative to formal Persian rugs. With thick, luxurious pile and a variety of colours, they feature cool geometric or animal motifs, abstract or representational. Made mainly from wool, they range from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the house. Gabbehs are known for their simplicity and are valued for their natural beauty.
