Description
Gabbeh rugs are hand-knotted products from Iran and India. The name “Gabbeh” comes from Persian and means “raw”, characteristic of their simple and rustic style. Since the early 1990s, they have enjoyed growing popularity as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, which are often associated with formal interior design. Gabbehs are characterised by a thick, luxurious pile, offer a variety of colours and feature cool geometric or animal motifs, whether abstract or representational. Made mainly from wool, they range from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the house.
