Description
Gabbeh rugs, hand-knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and embody a simple, rustic style. Increasingly popular since the early 1990s, they offer a more relaxed, folksy alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are known for their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and cool geometric and animal motifs. Usually made of wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and are suitable for any room in the house.
